"Perinasal dermatitis" - Image

"Perinasal dermatitis". "Perinasal dermatitis" is a common variant of perioral dermatitis. This cosmetic problem affects mainly young adult females. Small pustules on a red background are often found simultaneously around the mouth and occasionally also around the eyes. Oral tetracyclines lead to cure; however, during e.g. pregnancy or lactation topical metronidazole is an alternative.
